As a colleague, Sara admitted that she knew very well about Rudy Soik’s actions, especially in uncovering the TIP case. Among them, the TIP case involving TKI from NTT Wilfrida Soik and Mariance Kabu.
The Wilfrida Soik case attracted the attention of many parties a decade ago. The migrant worker from Belu, NTT, is suspected of being a victim of TIP in Malaysia.
At that time, Wilfrida Soik was threatened with the death penalty in Malaysia for allegedly killing her employer. The result of the trial was that he was found not guilty of murder.
For this reason, President Prabowo Subianto’s nephew said he came to accompany Rudy Soik to the DPR to provide support. Because Sara has a long story with Rudy Soik in eradicating TIP in Indonesia.
“We are working together to fight TIP on the face of Indonesia,” said Sara.
He then told about the beginning of his acquaintance with Rudy Soik. It started when he became an anti-trafficking activist since 2009. Saras became increasingly serious about his activities at that time until he finally formed the National Anti-TPPO Network in 2018.
“At first I didn’t want to raise it publicly, but when there was a dishonorable dismissal with grounds for which we were ready to explain, Thursday I really regret that this had to be brought up in the DPR, even though if this had been revealed it would have been resolved, it wouldn’t have had to come here ,” he said.
Sara regrets that the actions of a policeman whose intention was to uncover illegal practices in his homeland and protect the common people were instead brought into conflict with his own institution. Meanwhile, the cases that were uncovered were not followed up.
Sara invited the NTT Regional Police to focus on uncovering the fuel mafia and TIP cases which are very detrimental to the community. Don’t even consider it a problem if there are subordinates who try to clean.
When she ended her views, Sara again delivered a sarcastic sentence in front of the NTT Regional Police Chief. That the fuel supply in NTT is now running smoothly after the hoarding case was revealed by Ipda Rudy Soik.
Even though he has been fired, the police stated that Rudy Soik still has time to appeal the dismissal decision.
